Moonbirds to launch BIRB token in early Q1 2026

Moonbirds, an NFT project under Orange Cap Games, is set to launch its native token, BIRB, on the Solana blockchain in early Q1 2026. Spencer Gordon-Sand, CEO of Orange Cap Games, confirmed this timeline during Solana Breakpoint 2025, expressing an ambition for the company to become the "Pop Mart of web3." Orange Cap Games acquired the Moonbirds IP in May with a strategy focused on expanding NFT intellectual property into consumer products and gaming, including physical collectibles and trading card games. The company, currently in its second year, anticipates generating $8 million in revenue this year and projects $20 million next year. They have already seen success with the Vibes trading card game, which generated $6 million in the last year, and the Moonbirds IP is slated to be integrated into Vibes next year. Orange Cap Games has established distribution partnerships with major traditional collectible distributors like GTS and Star City Games, and grading partnerships with CGC and PSA.
