Binance co-founder Changpeng "CZ" Zhao publicly denied circulating rumors suggesting a romantic connection between him and a female Key Opinion Leader (KOL) named Tintin, who is affiliated with the Aster project. The speculation arose after Tintin presented CZ with a heavy gold item during a debate at Binance Blockchain Week in Dubai. CZ clarified on X that their entire interaction consisted of only three messages and a 10-minute meeting before the debate, dismissing the rumors as a sign the market was slow. The timing of the gossip was notable, as it followed the elevation of CZ's long-term partner, Yi He, to Binance co-CEO just days earlier. Meanwhile, CZ has been focused on business, recently visiting Pakistan with CEO Richard Teng, where Binance secured no-objection certificates from the country's regulatory authority.
