Crypto giant Tether offers to buy famous Italian football club Juventus

Tether, a major crypto firm, announced on Friday its intention to purchase the famous Italian football club Juventus by acquiring Exor's entire stake, pending regulatory approval. Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino expressed deep personal connection to the team, stating he grew up watching Juventus. This potential acquisition would be Tether's most high-profile move, despite previous investments in areas like artificial intelligence and gold. If the transaction is completed, Tether is prepared to invest 1 billion Euros into the club's support and development. Tether already holds a minority shareholder position in Juventus.
