Sangha Renewables Energizes 20 MW Bitcoin Mining Facility in West Texas

Sangha Renewables announced the energization of its 19.9-megawatt Bitcoin mining facility in Ector County, West Texas, in collaboration with Links Genco and TotalEnergies. The facility operates behind-the-meter, utilizing power from an existing 150-megawatt solar farm to provide dispatchable industrial demand that complements variable renewable output.

Links Genco managed energy structuring and grid compliance to align the load profile with solar generation, mitigating curtailment risks. Sangha will own and operate the data center, focusing on high-efficiency hardware deployment to maximize utilization during periods of excess solar energy. TotalEnergies will supply retail power solutions, including balancing services and supplemental grid power.

The project aims to unlock new revenue streams for the energy sector by turning underutilized renewable assets into profitable Bitcoin-generating operations, supporting grid stability and integrating digital infrastructure into long-term energy planning.
