Nayib Bukele and Elon Musk Team for AI-Powered Education

El Salvador, the first country to adopt Bitcoin as legal tender, is now collaborating with Elon Musk's xAI to establish the world's first national AI-powered public education system. The government plans to deploy xAI’s Grok chatbot across more than 5,000 public schools over the next two years, aiming to support over one million students and thousands of teachers. Grok will function as a digital tutor, personalizing lessons based on each student's pace and skill level while aligning with the national curriculum to ensure consistent instruction in both urban and rural areas. This partnership is also expected to generate new AI datasets, frameworks, and methodologies tailored for educational settings, focusing on safety and local context. Both President Nayib Bukele and Elon Musk emphasized that this initiative positions El Salvador at the forefront of AI-driven education.
