S&P Global partners with Google Cloud to strengthen enterprise AI strategy

S&P Global has entered into a multi-year partnership with Google Cloud aimed at strengthening its enterprise artificial intelligence strategy across data distribution, workflow automation, and agentic AI transformations. A key component of this deal involves unifying S&P's proprietary data on Google Cloud's BigQuery to enable faster, AI-ready insights. Furthermore, the collaboration will expand customer-facing agentic tools built on Gemini Enterprise, allowing direct interaction with S&P data, while also boosting employee productivity through Gemini Enterprise and new data agents embedding S&P intelligence into workflows. Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian highlighted the partnership as a significant milestone in S&P's AI journey.
