AI-powered studio Mugafi partners with Avalanche to tokenize entertainment IP

Mugafi, an AI-driven platform specializing in entertainment intellectual property (IP), has formed a partnership with Avalanche to tokenize media assets like films, anime, and music, enabling creators to finance and distribute projects directly on the blockchain. Mugafi utilizes AI systems trained on scripts to evaluate projects before they are brought onchain for funding. The initial goal of the collaboration is to finance over $10 million in entertainment IP, with a long-term target exceeding $1 billion in annual throughput. Avalanche intends to use this partnership to demonstrate its network's capability in supporting large-scale real-world asset issuance. Mugafi, launched in 2020 and backed by investors including Netflix and Amazon, projects this collaboration will create over 1,500 opportunities across regions like India, North America, Japan, and Korea.
