Cryptocurrency exchange Kraken, which is preparing for a U.S. public listing next year, has launched an invitation-only VIP program designed for ultra high net worth individuals, sophisticated traders, and strategic capital allocators. This move addresses the growing need among wealthy clients for high-touch services in the crypto space, similar to offerings recently introduced by competitors like Binance. The Kraken VIP program promises "elevated client service and extraordinary experiences," pairing each member with a dedicated specialist VIP Relationship Manager who provides 24/7 support, direct multichannel access, and early insights into Kraken's product ecosystem. Members also gain access to subject-matter experts in areas like engineering and custody, as well as exclusive "extraordinary experiences" such as Formula 1 events. Membership requires either a $10 million average balance on the platform or $80 million in annual trading volume. Kraken Co-CEO Arjun Sethi stated the program offers unprecedented access and influence tailored to clients who expect a partner matching their ambition and understanding of true scale.
