Entrée Capital has introduced a new $300 million fund dedicated to early-stage investments in crypto and Web3 infrastructure, spanning from pre-seed through Series A stages. The fund's primary focus areas are artificial intelligence (AI) agents capable of autonomous asset management under cryptographic policies, Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks (DePIN), and regulated blockchain protocols that use token incentives for real-world infrastructure coordination. Entrée Capital believes these areas represent crypto-native counterparts to the growing pillars of AI and cloud computing, offering pathways to secure, scalable digital and physical utility. The firm cites its extensive background in fintech and crypto, including early investments in Stripe and Web3 builders, as positioning it well to support founders at the intersection of regulated finance and decentralized networks.
