Sports merchandising giant Fanatics has entered the real-money prediction market space with the launch of Fanatics Markets, which is currently live in 10 U.S. states and will roll out across 24 states in phases. The platform allows users to trade on outcomes related to sports, politics, and economic shifts, with plans to expand into crypto prices and IPOs by early 2026. Fanatics Markets is built in partnership with Crypto.com and was established after Fanatics acquired Paragon Global Markets in July, securing necessary regulatory clearance from the CFTC and NFA to compete with established players like Polymarket and Kalshi. CEO Matt King stated the goal is to offer fans a safe and intuitive way to engage with cultural and sporting moments.
