Crypto exchange volume drops to $1.6 trillion in November, lowest since June
Summary
Monthly spot volume across crypto exchanges dropped to $1.59 trillion in November, a 26.7% decrease from October's $2.17 trillion, making it the weakest month since June's $1.14 trillion. Binance remained the top exchange with $599.34 billion, despite a significant drop from October. Decentralized exchange (DEX) volume also fell to $397.78 billion, the lowest for DEXs since June. Experts attribute the decline to market flatness, vanishing volatility, and profit-taking following a prior rally. Furthermore, U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs experienced net outflows of $3.48 billion in November, the largest monthly outflow since February.
