Wirex and Crossmint Partner to Expand On-Chain Stablecoin Payment Infrastructure

Wirex, a stablecoin payment infrastructure leader, has strategically partnered with Crossmint to expand its on-chain stablecoin payment capabilities beyond EVM chains, beginning with the Stellar network. This collaboration utilizes Crossmint's unified smart account infrastructure to deploy Wirex's full suite of programmable, compliant, and secure stablecoin payment technologies on non-EVM chains, significantly accelerating integration timelines.

According to Daniel Rowlands of Wirex Pay, this partnership is a major milestone in making stablecoin payments truly multichain and ready for Web3 banking. The integration allows Wirex to offer banking-grade stablecoin settlement, including on-chain card payments and real-time value transfer, across previously underserved ecosystems.

Rodri Fernández Touza, Co-Founder of Crossmint, noted that integrating Wirex's infrastructure into their SDK enables any Crossmint customer to build global, compliant payment experiences regardless of the underlying blockchain, thereby accelerating real-world adoption by removing fragmentation.
