Anchorage Digital, a federally chartered crypto custodian, announced it is creating a framework to distribute rewards on Ethena's tokens in compliance with the new GENIUS Act. This legislation prohibits direct interest payments on stablecoins but allows for the distribution of yield-like rewards. Ethena Labs operates USDe, and in partnership with Anchorage Digital, developed USDtb, which is positioned as the first stablecoin compliant with the GENIUS Act, enabling regulated reward distribution to its holders.
