Magma Launches on Monad Mainnet, Bringing MEV-Optimized Liquid Staking to Users

Magma has officially launched its MEV-optimized liquid staking service on the Monad mainnet, allowing users to stake their native MON tokens to receive gMON, a liquid staking token that accrues optimized rewards.

This launch enables users to maintain liquidity across Monad's growing DeFi ecosystem while earning yield. Monad is an EVM-compatible Layer-1 blockchain focused on high speed and low fees. Magma's infrastructure is designed to route MEV value back to stakers and the network, mirroring the success seen with Jito in reshaping the LST category.

Magma, built by Hydrogen Labs, has raised $4.2M from various investors and is partnering with validators like Blockdaemon and Figment, while expanding DeFi utility through integrations with protocols like Morpho and Euler. The protocol has also completed security audits.
