Rumble Tests Bitcoin Wallet on Android, Enabling Creator Tips in BTC and Stablecoins

Rumble has begun testing a new Bitcoin wallet feature on Android, enabling users to send tips in Bitcoin (BTC), Tether's USDT stablecoin, and Tether Gold (XAUT) directly within livestream chats and video content. This non-custodial wallet, which started testing on November 21, 2025, with a wider rollout anticipated by mid-December, ensures users maintain control over their private keys.

The feature is powered by strategic partnerships: Tether provides the technical backbone following its $775 million investment in Rumble, and MoonPay handles the buying, selling, and swapping functions, allowing users to easily purchase crypto with traditional payment methods. This move positions Rumble as one of the first major video platforms to implement native crypto tipping, contrasting with competitors like YouTube and TikTok.

Rumble's integration of crypto aligns with its broader strategy, which includes holding Bitcoin on its corporate treasury as an inflation hedge. The platform, which serves 51 million monthly users, aims to offer creators a payment alternative that bypasses high fees and delayed payouts associated with traditional systems, furthering its mission as a free-speech-focused alternative.
