Andrew Tate Called “One of the Worst Traders in Crypto” After Losing Over $800,000

Andrew Tate has been labeled one of the worst traders in crypto after blockchain analysis revealed he was completely liquidated on the decentralized perpetual exchange Hyperliquid, losing over $800,000. Tate initially deposited $727,000, which was entirely lost through leveraged trades. He also traded and subsequently lost $75,000 earned through referral income rather than withdrawing it. Tate's trading history shows a pattern of aggressive risk-taking, including a $597,000 loss in June and a $235,000 loss in November on a BTC long with 40x leverage. Across more than 80 trades, his win rate was only 35.5%, leading analysts to criticize his poor timing and risk management. His losses mirror those of other high-profile traders on the platform, such as James Wynn and Qwatio, highlighting the severe risks of high-leverage trading.
