Crypto services platform Monad has chosen Anchorage Digital to provide custody support for its native MON token, ahead of the Layer 1 blockchain and token launch scheduled for November 24 at 9 a.m. ET. Institutional asset holders will be able to securely hold and stake MON via Anchorage Digital's custodial platform or its self-custody wallet, Porto. Monad co-founder Keone Hon praised Anchorage Digital for their invaluable support, including managing the private mint and building secure custody integrations. Monad, founded in 2022, aims to create an EVM-compatible network comparable to Solana and Ethereum in speed and decentralization. The MON tokenomics reveal that 50.6% of the total supply will be locked at launch, with allocations reserved for ecosystem development, the team, and investors. Furthermore, Monad will be the first project to debut on Coinbase's new public token-sales platform.
