Chainlink, Apex Group Test Onchain Stablecoin Compliance With Bermuda Regulator

Chainlink and Apex Group successfully completed a testnet pilot project with the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) to test automated, on-chain enforcement of stablecoin regulations via the regulator's Innovation Hub. The system integrates several blockchain tools: Chainlink's Proof of Reserve to publish backing data, Secure Mint to restrict over-issuance, and the Automated Compliance Engine (ACE) to embed Bermuda-specific policy requirements. Apex Group provided custody and reserve data, while Hacken added real-time compliance risk monitoring. The pilot demonstrated how supervision could function through automated on-chain checks rather than relying solely on post-facto reporting, aligning with Chainlink's broader goal of supporting institutional adoption of tokenized assets.
