HIVE Digital Technologies announced it achieved 23 exahashes per second (EH/s) in Bitcoin mining capacity, marking 283% growth this year and aiming for 25 EH/s by month-end. This increased output, powered by its Paraguayan hydroelectric campus, is intended to generate income to fund the company's expansion into artificial intelligence (AI) computing infrastructure. HIVE is actively converting parts of its mining footprint into liquid-cooled, AI-ready data centers, including a site in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, capable of supporting 25,000 GPUs. The company projects its total GPU capacity will reach 36,000 by the end of 2026. HIVE currently holds approximately 2,201 BTC in its treasury.
