Edge & Node, the team behind The Graph, has launched ampersend, a new management platform designed to coordinate the operations and transactions of autonomous AI agents. The platform addresses the current lack of standardization in the emerging "agentic economy" by providing a unified dashboard for setting spending limits, managing policies, and tracking activity across networks.
Ampersend is built using Coinbase’s x402 payment protocol and Google’s A2A communication framework, integrating automation, observability, and compliance controls. Edge & Node developed this system in collaboration with Coinbase, Google, and the Ethereum Foundation’s decentralized AI team, and it also integrates with emerging Ethereum standards like ERC-8004 for agent discovery.
CEO Rodrigo Coelho stated that the platform prepares for a future where digital agents handle significant global commerce, referencing a projection that AI agents could drive $30 trillion in purchases by 2030. Ampersend aims to inject transparency and control into this projected shift.
