Uphold relaunches XRP rewards debit card in US

Crypto wallet provider Uphold is relaunching its U.S. debit card, which it had discontinued over two years ago, now featuring XRP rewards. Users can earn up to 6% back in XRP when spending dollars, crypto, or stablecoins, with an additional 4% XRP reward available for users who direct part of their paycheck to their Uphold account. According to Nancy Beaton, Uphold's President of U.S., the relaunch targets the company's high concentration of XRP holders and aims to service both existing and new clients. This move follows Uphold reinstating staking rewards for U.S. customers in March. The company highlighted its long-standing support for XRP, noting it never delisted the asset during regulatory challenges, fostering user loyalty. The introductory XRP reward rates are valid for 90 days after signing up, and a similar debit card is already available to Uphold customers in the UK.
