Gate Pay Launches “National QR Code” Feature, First Supporting Crypto Payments at 17 Million Merchants Across Vietnam and Brazil

Gate Pay, the crypto payment service from the digital asset exchange Gate, has launched its new National QR Code Payment feature, starting in Vietnam and Brazil. This integration allows users to make direct crypto payments using stablecoins like USDT or USDC via local QR systems. In Vietnam, it supports VietQR across over 2 million merchants via a partnership with AEON. In Brazil, it integrates with Pix, the instant payment network used by over 15 million merchants. The feature automatically recognizes the user's country to match the optimal payment rail, providing a one-scan, instant settlement experience without manual currency conversion. This launch is a key part of Gate's "All in Web3" strategy to bridge crypto with real-world financial systems, with plans to expand to more markets and support additional stablecoins.
