Truth Social Launches Prediction Markets Through Crypto.com Partnership

Truth Social, through its parent company Trump Media, is launching "Truth Predict," a new prediction market feature developed in partnership with Crypto.com Derivatives North America (CDNA), which is CFTC-registered. This feature will allow users to trade contracts on major events like elections, Fed decisions, and sports games. Users can convert "Truth gems" earned on the platform into CRO tokens to purchase these prediction contracts. Trump Media CEO Devin Nunes stated the goal is to "democratize information." This launch builds upon an existing partnership where Trump Media holds a significant amount of CRO tokens. Truth Predict enters a booming industry, with established platforms seeing billions in volume, and will begin beta testing soon, aiming for a full U.S. launch followed by international expansion. The move integrates social media engagement with financial participation, potentially creating a "prediction-driven social finance" model.
