SharpLink plans $200M Ethereum deployment with Linea partnership

SharpLink, a Nasdaq-listed firm holding a significant Ethereum treasury, announced a strategic partnership with Linea, ConsenSys's Ethereum Layer-2 scaling network, to deploy $200 million in Ethereum. This deployment aims to capture higher yields through native staking rewards and DeFi opportunities available on Linea. Furthermore, SharpLink has tokenized its equity as SBET on Ethereum, providing institutional-grade, leveraged exposure to ETH for investors. By joining the Linea Consortium, SharpLink gains influence over Layer-2 governance. The firm is also collaborating with EtherFi and EigenLayer to access restaking rewards by securing third-party services and EigenCloud AVSs.
