Bitget Wallet adds HyperEVM support, giving users access to Hyperliquid ecosystem
Summary
Bitget Wallet has integrated HyperEVM, the Ethereum-compatible smart-contract layer for the Hyperliquid Layer-1 blockchain. This integration allows users to perform cross-chain transfers, interact with HyperEVM-based DeFi applications, and use the native HYPE token directly within the wallet interface. Bitget Wallet plans to introduce further features like perpetual trading and additional DeFi tools soon. Jamie Elkaleh, CMO of Bitget Wallet, stated the goal is to simplify access to Hyperliquid's high-performance infrastructure. Hyperliquid, operational since 2023, features a decentralized exchange with onchain order books and low-latency trading via its HyperCore engine, supporting both spot and perpetual markets. The platform has processed over $1.5 trillion in trading volume, with a current TVL of $4.85 billion. Bitget Wallet currently supports over 130 blockchains and serves more than 80 million users.
