IBM taps wallet-as-a-service provider Dfns for new enterprise-grade ‘Digital Asset Haven’
Summary
IBM has introduced the IBM Digital Asset Haven, a new platform designed for institutions, governments, and corporations to manage their entire digital asset lifecycle, including custody, transactions, and settlement. This platform was developed in collaboration with Dfns, a wallet-as-a-service provider backed by Coinbase. The solution aims to help enterprises meet compliance obligations while offering integration readiness. IBM Digital Asset Haven supports 40 public and private blockchains and includes features like programmable multi-party approvals, KYC verification, anti-money laundering protections, and yield generation. This initiative builds upon IBM's decade-long blockchain experience and its existing partnership with Dfns, which recently integrated IBM's Hyper Protect Virtual Servers for hardware-backed security.
