Hong Kong-based health sciences company Prenetics Global Limited successfully priced a public equity offering expected to yield approximately $48 million in gross proceeds, with a potential total of $216 million if warrants are exercised. The capital raise is earmarked for expanding its supplement brand, IM8, and bolstering its Bitcoin treasury strategy, which involves purchasing one bitcoin daily since August 1, 2025, resulting in a current holding of about 275 BTC. The offering attracted notable investors, including major crypto platforms and financial firms, and strategic backers like tennis star Aryna Sabalenka and entrepreneur Adrian Cheng. Post-offering, Prenetics will have about $100 million in cash, bringing total liquidity, including Bitcoin, to around $131 million. The company plans to divest non-core assets to focus on IM8 growth and Bitcoin accumulation, aiming for $1 billion in annual revenue and $1 billion in Bitcoin holdings within five years.
