Ledger unveils new Nano Gen5 and multisig platform, rebrands Live as Ledger Wallet

At its Ledger Op3n event, Ledger unveiled significant updates aimed at enhancing digital asset security for both individuals and institutions. The company introduced the Ledger Nano Gen5, priced at $179, which features Bluetooth, NFC, an E Ink touchscreen, and enhanced security tools like Clear Signing. Furthermore, Ledger Live has been rebranded as Ledger Wallet, redesigned as a secure control center supporting the top 100 digital tokens and integrating features like direct dApp connections and fiat-to-stablecoin conversions. For institutional users, Ledger introduced Ledger Multisig under Ledger Enterprise, a platform designed for treasury management and DAO governance that enforces Clear Signing for all approvals.
