Bitget and Google Developer Group Collaborate on a Second Hackathon to Fuel Youth Innovation

Bitget, the Universal Exchange, is partnering with the Google Developer Group (GDG) to host their second hackathon, the "AI Accelerate Hack," at KU Leuven in Belgium on October 29, 2025. This 10-hour event, part of Bitget's Blockchain4Youth CSR initiative, focuses on leveraging technology, business, and creativity to fuel innovation, expecting 200 participants to develop solutions for real-world business challenges.

Vugar Usi Zade, COO of Bitget, highlighted the hackathons as a chance to mentor promising students and expand their community knowledge sharing. Daniel Sparemblek, President and Founder at GDG KU Leuven, noted the event's alignment with their mission to empower developers by bridging academic theory with practical business challenges in AI and blockchain.

While primarily targeting Master's students in Computer Engineering focusing on AI, participation is open to others with relevant backgrounds or up to two years of experience. The schedule includes an opening ceremony detailing Bitget's Blockchain4Youth initiative and a new Graduate Program aimed at recruiting top university talent into Web3 roles. This event follows a successful prior collaboration and is part of Bitget's wider efforts to promote blockchain education globally.
