This new integration layer is built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard that connects large language models (LLMs) to external data sources and APIs. The server functions as a secure gateway, allowing financial platforms, institutional investors, and AI tools to easily retrieve real-time, standardized data about tokenized assets—such as supply, distribution, and metadata—using simple function calls instead of requiring manual integration with raw blockchain endpoints. This development aims to streamline interoperability for institutions and enable AI agents to directly query and utilize insights from tokenized assets, like BlackRock’s BUIDL or Apollo’s ACRED, for portfolio analytics and compliance systems.
